Counselling, for me, is about creating a space where you feel safe to bring both your struggles and your strengths. I believe healing begins when you are met with compassion, curiosity, and the freedom to be yourself. As a South Asian woman and immigrant, I know what it’s like to carry expectations, navigate transitions, and hold different parts of identity at once. My role is to walk alongside you with warmth and respect as we untangle what feels heavy and move towards clarity, connection, and a sense of ease.

Get To Know Me Personally
-
My acts of self-care include spending time with loved ones, taking long walks in nature, and recognizing when I need a pause so I can do things that help me feel grounded.
-
I was drawn to counselling because I’ve seen the difference it makes when someone feels truly heard. My early work with diverse communities taught me how powerful it can be when people are offered care that honours their culture, their story, and their pace. My own journey through change and transition deepened this belief, and it’s why I’m committed to showing up with presence and curiosity. Supporting others as they reconnect with themselves and with those they love is deeply meaningful work that continues to inspire me every day.
-
Having lived in three different countries, I’ve navigated the challenges of adapting to new cultures, maintaining relationships across distances, and finding my own sense of belonging. Those experiences continue to shape the empathy and understanding I bring into the room, helping me support clients through their own transitions and complexities.
-
When I was little, I wanted to be an astronaut and explore space—until I started learning physics in school and quickly realized it wasn’t for me!
-
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time in nature, especially walking by rivers and mountains, trying out new recipes to share with the people I love, and keeping my space organized—a simple ritual that helps me feel calm and clear.
-
It’s important to know that counselling is not about being “fixed”—it’s about having a space where you can show up as you are. In our first sessions, I’ll take time to get to know your story, values, and what brought you here. You set the pace, and together we’ll start shaping a path that feels supportive and meaningful for you..
-
I love witnessing those quiet shifts; when a client takes a deep breath, sees something from a new angle, or feels more understood in a relationship. It’s in these moments that change begins to take root, and it’s an honour to be part of that process.
-
My clients have described me as warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental. Couples often share that they both feel equally seen and heard in our sessions, even when conversations are difficult.
-
“Even the strongest oak bends with the wind, not because it's weak but because it's alive”.
This quote reminds me that true strength comes from flexibility. Bending in the face of life’s challenges isn’t weakness—it’s a sign of resilience, self-awareness, and the ability to grow while staying alive and whole.
