Beginning counselling takes courage, and I honour your choice to take this step. My approach is collaborative, holistic, and rooted in compassion. I support people through life transitions, relationship challenges, questions of meaning and identity, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and the lasting impact of trauma and neglect. I also offer perinatal and postpartum support for new parents navigating the profound changes and vulnerabilities of this season.
I believe we all hold an innate capacity for healing and wisdom. Counselling can help you reconnect with that inner strength and move toward greater presence, authenticity, and connection—to yourself and to others.
In our work together, I aim to create a space where vulnerability is met with care and curiosity, allowing for new experiences of safety and self-compassion to emerge. I draw from Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and attachment-based approaches, grounded in trauma-informed and anti-oppressive values.
My hope is that our time together helps you feel more at home within yourself and more open to the fullness of your life.

Get To Know Me Personally
-
My favourite ways to care for myself include slowing down, breathing and meditation, spending time in nature, and eating dark chocolate.
-
I have always been curious about what it means to be human, especially what it means to live a meaningful and authentic life as a human being. Growing up in a social and cultural setting in which focusing on emotions and internal experience was inadvertently limited, I found a great sense of meaning and freedom when I learned to explore what was happening inside of me emotionally, physiologically, and spiritually. Connecting with and integrating these pieces of my experience allowed me to discover a more holistic understanding of myself and my relationships. My natural curiosity and personal experience were both significant parts of what led me to become a counsellor.
-
As a child, I took piano lessons and stopped in my teens. Then, in my 20s, I decided to take up lessons again, and I took part in the annual recital, where I was the only adult student, playing alongside many kiddos and youth (many of whom were much more advanced players than I was). Playing in front of a crowd and allowing my loved ones to support me at this recital was far outside my comfort zone. To this day, I feel accomplished to have faced my nerves and taken up the support and encouragement I was offered, even when I felt a little out of place and not as skilled as my fellow recital participants.
-
My love of sorting, colour coding, and organizing made me dream of being a professional organizer.
-
I may be spending time with my loved ones, reading and learning, or enjoying some downtime cuddling up with my dog on the couch.

There is no predetermined "right" way to show up for counseling. Whether you come with a clear understanding of your concerns or find yourself grappling with a myriad of emotions, your unique presence is the starting point. The counsellor's role is not to fit you into a predefined mould but to collaborate with you in navigating the path that unfolds naturally.
Vulnerability and seeking support are courageous steps toward self-discovery and healing. Embrace the freedom to express yourself in your own way, knowing that there is no judgment in the counselling space – only understanding, empathy, and a commitment to helping you navigate the intricate landscape of your emotions and experiences.
-
Hands down, my clients! Watching people grow into deeper relationships with themselves and others is one of my life sweet nectars.
-
I have been described by my clients as patient, open, calm, and knowledgeable.
